For businesses that know they have repetitive work but not where to start, or whose processes involve sensitive data or several departments. In five to seven business days you get a prioritised list, a measured baseline and a written scope you can act on, with us or with anyone.
Who the audit is for
- Teams of roughly 10–100 people with at least 20 repetitive staff-hours a week spread across several processes
- Businesses where the obvious candidate touches personal, financial or health data
- Owners who have tried a tool or two and want a plan rather than another subscription
- Operations leaders who need a documented case before committing a Team or Business budget
Who should skip it
If you already have one clear, frequent, rule-based process in mind and the data is not sensitive, you do not need an audit. Go straight to the One Workflow Pilot; discovery is built into it. The free scan will tell you which situation you are in.
The process
What happens in five to seven business days
- Kick-off (day 1). A 60-minute session with the owner and the people who do the work. We agree which departments are in scope and how we will observe the processes.
- Workflow inventory (days 1–3). Short interviews and screen-shares. Every repetitive process is recorded with trigger, steps, systems, volume, hours, exceptions and the person who owns it.
- Impact/effort matrix (day 4). Each workflow is scored on frequency, time, rule clarity, exception rate, business value, data sensitivity and integration effort, and plotted so the order is obvious.
- Baseline (days 4–5). For the top candidates we capture current volume, hours, error rate and response time from real data, so any later result can be compared honestly.
- Architecture recommendation (day 5–6). Which platform fits, which accounts you need to own, where approvals and fallbacks go, and which points need legal or security review.
- Written scope and walkthrough (day 6–7). A scope card for the first workflow with acceptance criteria and credit classification, plus a 45-minute walkthrough of everything.

Questions about the audit
How much of my team’s time does the audit need?
Plan for the 60-minute kick-off, roughly 20–30 minutes per process owner for interviews and screen-shares, and the 45-minute walkthrough. For a typical 20-person business that is four to six hours in total, spread over the week.
Do you need access to our systems?
Read-only, and only where needed to count volumes or look at data formats. Most of the audit works from screen-shares and exports you provide. We do not connect anything to production during an audit.
Is the audit a sales pitch for your packages?
The recommendation names a package because you will want to know what the first workflow costs, but the deliverables are platform- and provider-neutral. If the honest answer is “automate nothing yet, fix the process first”, that is what the report will say.
Can the audit cover regulated or high-risk processes?
Yes, and that is one of its main purposes. We map where personal or sensitive data flows, note where the EU AI Act or UK guidance may apply and mark clearly which points need your legal adviser before a build. We do not provide legal advice or claim compliance.
